We Have Travel Dates!

I am so happy to announce this! We have received our travel dates! We received them sooner than we expected, but they are farther off than we had anticipated. Our first appointment will be on November 2nd! Our remaining appointments will be decided in-country after that, but last time they were about a week apart. We are coming Amos, Daisy, Lee and Violet!

As of this post, we are only $8680 from being funded. Depending on the location of one of our children, we may need an extra $6500 in facilitation fees alone. We are not counting that into our total needed yet, but it is a possible expense. To see all of our current fundraisers go HERE.

A great big awesome thing going on right now is that our family has been selected for 5/5/5. What is that? It's awesome is what it is.

5 families are selected for the grant to be divided among. (Ours was one this month!) You donate to the shared grant account. It doesn't need to be a lot. $5 goes a long way when enough people donate! Then on the 5th, the funds are shared with the families. $5, 5 families, from now until the 5th. And this happens every month! You can even check the "recurring donation" box if you donate from your computer so that you automatically donate every month.

We are hoping to recruit 10 people who will start giving to this month's 5 families. One of the other families is even the family adopting Denzel and Phoenix! This is an easy way to do a little thing that makes a big difference. We donate automatically every month. I hope this month will be the most successful month yet! Go check it out HERE!
