Daisy was our fourth and final child to be picked up for this adoption. (Yep, we are still heading back for one more girl once these guys are home!) She did amazingly well with all the travel, both from her orphanage to the regional city and from there to the capitol. She is handling it all much better than we expected.
Tomorrow is the first embassy visit and the first medical appointment for all four. I have to say we couldn't have done this without our helper. He has been absolutely great! We are still hoping they will all be ready to come home next week.

We are home with Amos, Daisy, Lee and Violet! Meanwhile we have jumped in again for one last very special girl. If you would like to help with that, you can make a non-tax-deductible donation HERE that we can access immediately. You can also make a tax-deductible donation HERE that we can use once we receive travel dates. Or by donating HERE you can help provide her and other children at her orphanage the care and nutrition they desperately need. See all of our current fundraisers HERE. We are thankful for any support you can offer!
Your family has been heavy on my heart, and I will be praying for you to experience the miraculous provision of God for the help and support you will need to meet the needs of all your beautiful children.
ReplyDeleteWhy are we heavy on your heart? :) We are quite thrilled to be getting everyone home. It is a big adjustment for all but we have solid plans in place. Lots going on behind the scenes. :) Immediate medical care coming home and in home medical assistance round the clock during this first stage. I am very excited for everyone to come home!
DeleteI'm so sorry to have caused offense by my tactless wording. :( It was not at all my intent. I am so thankful to hear about all the amazing help you will have! Please know I will be praying often for you and your family as you all adjust to this new assignment.
DeleteNo worries at all! :) If there is anything we need right now it is prayer! :)
DeleteDaisy captured my heart from the beginning, and I am delighted to see her finally headed home.
ReplyDeleteWere you able to see your future daughter as well? I have worried for her and hope she is receiving more care.
The orphanage is allowing some charity assistance right now, and their manager is doing a GREAT job keeping on top of her condition. Her condition is very slightly improved. We are praying that things will keep moving in the right direction.
DeleteThat is wonderful to hear. I will keep hoping for her continued improvement and a quick end to her paperwork struggles.
